Praying from James 2:26 relating to Faith, Works, Death

Dear God, help me to understand that just as the body without the spirit is lifeless, so too is faith without works. May my faith be alive and active, demonstrated through my actions and deeds. Give me the strength and courage to put my faith into practice, serving others and glorifying your name. Amen.

Verse: For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
James 2:26

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to have faith accompanied by works, as faith without works is dead.
