Praying from 1 Corinthians 11:24. Themes: Sacrifice, Communion, Remembrance.

Dear Lord, as we come before you today, we give thanks for all that you have done for us. We thank you for the sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ, who gave his body for us. As we partake of this bread, we remember his sacrifice and the love that he has for us. May this act of remembrance strengthen our faith and draw us closer to you. We pray that you would bless this bread and make it a symbol of your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: When he had given thanks, he broke it and said,“Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”
1 Corinthians 11:24

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to take and eat the bread in memory of Jesus.
