Dear Lord,

As we partake in the cup of blessing and break the bread, we humbly submit ourselves to you. We acknowledge that it is only through your sacrifice that we are able to share in the blood and body of Christ.

We claim the promise that as we partake in communion, we are united with Christ and with one another. May this act of remembrance strengthen our faith and deepen our love for you.

We ask for your guidance and wisdom as we continue to walk in your ways. May we always remember the sacrifice of Christ and strive to live a life that honors you.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.
