Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us through your Son, Jesus Christ. You have said that he must suffer many things, be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, but on the third day, he will be raised up. I believe in this promise, and I trust in your plan for my life. Help me to remember that even in the midst of suffering and rejection, you are with me, and you will raise me up. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the hope that we have in Christ. Amen.
