Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that we can be gentle among others, just like a nursing mother cherishes her own children. Help me to embody this promise in my daily life, to show kindness and compassion to those around me. May I be a source of comfort and care to those who need it, just as a mother cares for her child. I pray that my actions and words will reflect your love and grace, and that I may be a shining example of your gentle spirit. Thank you for the privilege of being able to share your love with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
