Dear Lord Jesus, as I come before you today, I claim the promise that you made to your mother when you saw her standing with the disciple whom you loved. Just as you said to her, “Woman, behold, your son!”, I pray that you will also look upon me with love and compassion. Help me to feel your presence and to know that you are always with me, guiding me and protecting me. May I always be reminded of your love and sacrifice for me, and may I live my life in a way that honors you. Thank you for being my Savior and my friend. In your holy name I pray, Amen.
