Dear Lord,
As I come before you today, I claim the promise of your word that says, “Behold, your mother!” Just as you entrusted your mother to the care of your disciple, I trust that you will also entrust my loved ones into your loving care.
I pray that you will watch over them, protect them, and guide them in all their ways. May they always feel your presence and know that you are with them every step of the way.
Thank you for your promise to care for us and for the assurance that we can always turn to you in times of need. I trust in your unfailing love and ask that you continue to bless and keep my loved ones safe.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Then he said to the disciple,“Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

This is a Promise. The verse is a promise to the disciple that he will take care of Mary, the mother of Jesus, from that hour forward.
