Praying from 1 Thessalonians 2:8 relating to Love, Evangelism, Relationship.
Dear God, I claim the promise that just as the apostles were affectionately longing for the people they ministered to, I too will have a heart full of love and compassion for those around me. I pray that I will be well pleased to impart not only the Good News of God but also my own soul to those who need it. May I become dear to those I minister to, just as they become dear to me. Thank you for the promise that as I pour out my heart to others, you will fill me up with your love and grace. Amen.
Verse: Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us.
