Prayer based on Matthew 21:16. Themes: Praise, Humility, Faith

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that out of the mouth of children and nursing babies, you have perfected praise. I claim this promise today and ask that you would help me to have childlike faith and a heart of praise. May my words and actions bring glory to your name, and may I always remember that you are worthy of all honor and praise. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the gift of salvation through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Verse: and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them,“Yes. Did you never read, ‘ Out of the mouth of children and nursing babies, you have perfected praise?’”
Matthew 21:16

This is a Promise. The verse is a reference to Psalm 8:2 and is a promise that even the praise of children and infants is perfect and pleasing to God.
