Dear God, as your children, we acknowledge that we are debtors to you and not to our flesh. Help us to resist the temptations of the flesh and to live according to your will. Give us the strength to overcome our sinful desires and to follow your path. May we always remember that our true debt is to you, and may we honor that debt by living a life that is pleasing to you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Romans 8:12
