Praying from Romans 8:9. Themes: Spirit, Indwelling, Identity

Dear God, I thank you for the promise that I am not in the flesh but in the Spirit because your Spirit dwells in me. I pray that I may always be filled with your Spirit and be guided by it in all that I do. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to always follow your will. I claim the promise that if I have the Spirit of Christ, I belong to you. May I always be yours and may your Spirit continue to dwell in me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
Romans 8:9

This is a Promise. The verse promises that if the Spirit of God dwells in the reader, they are not in the flesh but in the Spirit. It also states that if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Him.
