Dear Lord, I pray that you help me to be mindful of the words that come out of my mouth. May I not be trapped or ensnared by my own words, but instead, may my speech be filled with kindness, love, and wisdom. Help me to use my words to build others up and to bring glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: you are trapped by the words of your mouth; you are ensnared with the words of your mouth.
Proverbs 6:2
