Dear God, I pray that you give me the strength to flee from sexual immorality. Help me to understand that every sin that I commit is outside of my body, but when I engage in sexual immorality, I am sinning against my own body. Please guide me to make wise choices and to honor you with my body. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
1 Corinthians 6:18
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to flee from sexual immorality and warns that those who commit it are sinning against their own bodies.
