Dear God, please help me to guard my mouth and the words that come out of it. May I be mindful of the impact my words can have on others and on my own soul. Please give me the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Help me to resist the temptation to speak impulsively or without thinking. May my words always be kind, truthful, and uplifting. Thank you for your guidance and protection. Amen.

Verse: He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
Proverbs 13:3
