Prayer based on Proverbs 13:2. Themes: Speech, Consequences, Faithfulness

Dear God, please help me to always speak words that bear good fruit and bring joy and blessings into my life and the lives of those around me. Keep me from the temptation to use my words to hurt or cause violence. Help me to be faithful and true in all my interactions with others. Amen.

Verse: By the fruit of his lips, a man enjoys good things, but the unfaithful crave violence.
Proverbs 13:2

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to speak good things with their lips in order to enjoy good things, rather than craving violence like the unfaithful.
