Dear Lord Jesus, as I read these words, I am reminded of your teachings and the wisdom you imparted to your disciples. Help me to apply these teachings to my life and to follow your example. May I always be open to your guidance and may your words be a source of comfort and strength for me. Amen.

Verse: When Jesus had finished all these words, he said to his disciples,
Matthew 26:1

This is a Command. The verse does not contain a promise, but rather a command to Jesus’ disciples.
