Prayer based on Luke 11:1. Themes: Prayer, Discipleship, Teaching.

Dear Lord, as we read in the scriptures, when you finished praying in a certain place, one of your disciples asked you to teach them how to pray. Today, we come before you with the same request. Lord, teach us to pray. Help us to understand the power of prayer and how it can transform our lives. May we always seek your guidance and wisdom as we approach you in prayer. We thank you for the example of John and his disciples, and we ask that you help us to follow in their footsteps. May our prayers be a sweet fragrance to you, and may they bring us closer to you each day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: When he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.”
Luke 11:1

This is a Command. The disciple is asking Jesus to teach them how to pray.
