Praying from Matthew 16:17. Themes: Revelation, Blessing, Father’s Will.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for the promise that you have given us through your son, Jesus Christ. I claim the promise that you have revealed to Simon Bar Jonah, that flesh and blood has not revealed this to him, but it is you, my Father who is in heaven.
I pray that you will continue to reveal your truth to me, that I may have a deeper understanding of your love and grace. Help me to trust in you and to seek your will in all that I do. May your Holy Spirit guide me and lead me on the path that you have set before me.
Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that you have given us through your son, Jesus Christ. I pray that I may continue to grow in my faith and knowledge of you, and that I may always give you the glory and honor that you deserve.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Jesus answered him,“Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
