Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in Psalm 80:5. I know that there have been times in my life when I have felt like I was being fed with the bread of tears and given tears to drink in large measure. But I also know that you are a God who keeps his promises, and that you have promised to be with me always, even in the midst of my struggles and pain.

So today, I ask that you would help me to trust in your promises and to hold fast to your word. I pray that you would give me the strength and courage to persevere through the difficult times, knowing that you are with me every step of the way. And I pray that you would continue to feed me with the bread of life, so that I may be sustained and nourished by your love and grace.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for the promise that you have given us in Psalm 80:5. I trust in you and I know that you will never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
