Dear Lord, I pray for protection from the deceitful ways of men. Help me to be aware of their intentions and to guard my heart against their schemes. Shield me from those who would deliver me up to councils and subject me to persecution in their synagogues. Give me the strength to endure any trials that may come my way and to remain steadfast in my faith. May I always trust in your unfailing love and protection. Amen.

Verse: But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.
Matthew 10:17
