Praying from Matthew 10:16 relating to Wisdom, Harmlessness, Persecution

Dear Lord, as I go out into the world, I am reminded of your words that I am like a sheep among wolves. Help me to be wise as a serpent, to navigate the challenges and dangers that may come my way. But also, help me to be harmless as a dove, to approach others with kindness and love. May I always remember to trust in you and seek your guidance in all that I do. Amen.

Verse: “Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
