Praying from James 3:9 relating to Image of God, Blessing and cursing.

Dear God and Father, we come before you today with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving. We bless you for your goodness, your mercy, and your love that never fails. We acknowledge that you are the creator of all things, and that every person on this earth is made in your image.

Lord, we confess that at times we have failed to see the value and worth of those around us. We have spoken words of anger, bitterness, and hatred towards our fellow human beings, forgetting that they too are your beloved children. We ask for your forgiveness for the times we have cursed others with our words and actions.

Help us to see others as you see them, with love and compassion. May our words and actions always reflect your grace and mercy, and may we be a blessing to those around us. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
