Dear Lord, forgive us for the times when we have fallen asleep in our faith and failed to watch and pray with you. Help us to stay alert and attentive to your presence, even in the midst of our busy lives. Give us the strength and endurance to stay awake and keep watch, so that we may be ready to follow you wherever you lead us. We ask this in your holy name. Amen.
