Dear Lord, help me to recognize the things in my life that cause me to stumble and lead me away from you. Give me the strength and courage to cut them off, even if it means sacrificing something I hold dear. Help me to remember that it is better to enter into life maimed than to be consumed by the unquenchable fire of Gehenna. Guide me on the path towards righteousness and keep me steadfast in my faith. Amen.
