Praying from Matthew 3:12 relating to Judgment, Separation, Salvation.

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that your winnowing fork is in your hand and that you will thoroughly cleanse your threshing floor. I pray that you would gather me and all those who belong to you as your wheat into your barn. May we be kept safe and secure in your loving care. And Lord, I pray that you would help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, so that I may be counted among your wheat. I ask that you would remove any chaff from my life, anything that is not of you, and burn it up with your unquenchable fire. May I be purified and made holy, so that I may bring glory to your name. Thank you for your promise of cleansing and for your faithfulness to those who belong to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.”
Matthew 3:12

This is a Promise. The verse describes the actions of Jesus in separating the righteous (wheat) from the unrighteous (chaff) and the promise that the righteous will be gathered into heaven while the unrighteous will face eternal punishment.
