Dear God, we come before you humbly and ask for your wisdom and guidance. We acknowledge that the wisdom of this world is limited and often flawed. We ask that you help us to seek your wisdom above all else and to trust in your ways. May we not be swayed by the opinions and debates of this age, but instead, may we be grounded in your truth. Thank you for making foolish the wisdom of this world and for showing us the way to true wisdom and understanding. Amen.
Verse: Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

This is a Command. The verse is calling for the reader to recognize that God has made the wisdom of this world foolish.
