Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have written in your word, that you will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing. I pray that you would help me to rely on your wisdom and understanding, rather than my own. May I trust in you completely, knowing that you are the source of all true wisdom and discernment. Thank you for your promise to guide and direct me, and for your faithfulness in fulfilling your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
