Praying from 1 Corinthians 1:27. Themes: Humility, Redemption, Power

Dear God, I thank you for choosing the foolish things of the world to shame the wise and the weak things of the world to shame the strong. I claim this promise today and ask that you use me, despite my weaknesses and shortcomings, to bring glory to your name. Help me to trust in your power and not my own, and to rely on your wisdom and not my own understanding. May my life be a testimony to your grace and mercy, and may others see your strength at work in me. Thank you for choosing me, and for using me to accomplish your purposes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.
1 Corinthians 1:27

This is a Promise.
