Praying from Matthew 18:8. Themes: Repentance, Sacrifice, Hell.

Dear Lord, I pray that you give me the strength and courage to cut off anything in my life that causes me to stumble and fall away from you. Help me to recognize the things that are hindering my spiritual growth and give me the wisdom to remove them from my life. I know that it may be painful and difficult, but I trust that it is better to enter into life maimed or crippled than to be cast into the eternal fire. Thank you for your love and guidance in my life. Amen.

Verse: If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.
Matthew 18:8

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to cut off their hand or foot if it causes them to stumble, in order to avoid being cast into eternal fire.
