Prayer based on Luke 6:22. Themes: Persecution, Blessing, Endurance.

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that says, “Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.” I claim this promise today and ask for your strength and courage to endure any persecution or rejection that may come my way because of my faith in you. Help me to remember that I am blessed in your eyes and that my reward is in heaven. May I continue to live for you and honor your name, even in the face of opposition. Thank you for your love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
