Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of your word and for the messengers you have sent to guide us. Help us to always listen to your voice and follow your commands. May we never reject your truth or turn away from your love. Strengthen us in our faith and help us to share your message with others, so that they too may come to know and love you. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Verse: Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
Luke 10:16

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to listen to the speaker and not reject them, as rejecting the speaker is equivalent to rejecting Jesus and ultimately rejecting God.
