Dear Lord, please help us to remember the warning given to Capernaum and to not become prideful or exalted in our own lives. May we always remain humble and seek your guidance and grace. Protect us from the temptation to elevate ourselves above others and keep us grounded in your truth. Help us to live a life that is pleasing to you and avoid the fate of Capernaum, who was brought down to Hades. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.
Luke 10:15
