Prayer based on Luke 12:3. Themes: Judgment, Revelation, Truth
Dear God, please help me to always speak truthfully and with integrity, even in the darkness where no one can see me. May my words be pure and honorable, and may they bring glory to your name. I pray that you would give me the courage to speak up for what is right, even when it is difficult or unpopular. And I ask that you would forgive me for any words spoken in secret that were not pleasing to you. May my words always be a reflection of your love and grace, and may they bring light to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
Luke 12:3
This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to be mindful of their words and actions, as they will eventually be exposed and brought to light.
