Praying from 1 John 1:5 relating to God’s nature, Light vs. Darkness

Dear God,

Thank you for the message that we have heard from you, that you are light and in you there is no darkness at all. I claim this promise today and ask that you would fill me with your light and drive out any darkness in my life. Help me to walk in your truth and to be a reflection of your light to those around me. May your light shine through me and bring hope and healing to a world in need. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that in you there is no darkness at all.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
