Praying from 1 Thessalonians 4:8 relating to Rejection, God’s Authority, Holy Spirit.
Dear God, I pray that I may never reject your teachings and guidance. Help me to always remember that rejecting your word is not just rejecting man, but rejecting you and your Holy Spirit. May I always have a heart that is open to your truth and willing to follow your will. Amen.
Verse: Therefore he who rejects this doesn’t reject man, but God, who has also given his Holy Spirit to you.
1 Thessalonians 4:8
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not reject the message being conveyed, as doing so would be rejecting God who has given his Holy Spirit to them.
