Praying from 2 Peter 1:21 relating to Inspiration, Prophecy, Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today claiming the promise that no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit. I thank you for the assurance that your word is true and trustworthy, and that it is inspired by your Holy Spirit.

I pray that you would continue to move in my life and in the lives of those around me, guiding us by your Spirit and revealing your truth to us. Help us to be open and receptive to your leading, and to always seek your will above our own.

May your Holy Spirit continue to speak through us, using us as vessels to share your love and truth with the world. May we be faithful servants, always seeking to glorify you in all that we do.

Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit, and for the promise that you will never leave us or forsake us. May we always trust in your unfailing love and grace.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:21

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that all prophecies in the Bible were spoken by holy men who were moved by the Holy Spirit, not by their own will.
