Dear God, please forgive us for the times when we have built monuments and memorials to honor those who have spoken your truth, while ignoring their message and even persecuting them. Help us to listen to your prophets and to follow their teachings, even when they challenge us and call us to change. May we never repeat the mistakes of our ancestors and instead work towards creating a world that reflects your love and justice. Amen.
