Praying from 1 Thessalonians 2:15 relating to Sin, Persecution, Rejection

Dear Lord, we come before you with heavy hearts, acknowledging the sins of those who have killed both you, our Lord Jesus, and your prophets. We pray for their repentance and salvation. We also ask for your protection and guidance as we face persecution and are driven out. Help us to please you in all that we do and to be a light in the darkness. We pray for those who are contrary to all men, that they may come to know your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and drove us out, and don’t please God, and are contrary to all men,
1 Thessalonians 2:15

This is a Command. The verse is a warning to avoid the behavior of those who killed Jesus and the prophets, and to not displease God or be contrary to others.
