Praying from James 2:11 relating to Law, Sin, Commandments

Dear Lord, we thank you for your commandments and the guidance they provide us. Help us to always remember that the same voice that tells us not to commit adultery also tells us not to commit murder. May we never become transgressors of your law, but instead, may we always strive to live in accordance with your will. Grant us the strength and wisdom to resist temptation and to follow your path of righteousness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
James 2:11

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not commit murder or adultery, and warns that breaking one commandment makes them a transgressor of the entire law.
