Dear God, please help us to guard our hearts and minds against evil thoughts and desires. May we resist the temptation to commit adultery, sexual sins, murder, and theft. Instead, may we choose to honor you with our thoughts and actions, and may our hearts be filled with love, kindness, and compassion. We ask for your strength and guidance to overcome the darkness within us and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Amen.

Mark 7:21

This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to be aware of the evil thoughts and actions that can come from within their own heart.
