Praying from Colossians 3:5 relating to Holiness, Purity, Idolatry
Dear God, I pray that you help me to put to death the sinful desires and actions that reside within me. Please give me the strength to resist sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness. Help me to turn away from these things and instead focus on living a life that is pleasing to you. I ask that you remove any idols from my heart and mind, and replace them with a deep love and devotion for you. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the power to overcome sin through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
