Praying from Ephesians 5:5 relating to Salvation, Holiness, Idolatry.
Dear Lord, I pray that you help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Help me to resist the temptation of sexual immorality, uncleanness, and covetousness. I pray that I may never become an idolater and that I may always put you first in my life. Please grant me the strength and wisdom to overcome any sinful desires and to live a life that is worthy of your Kingdom. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the promise of eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man ( who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
Ephesians 5:5
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to avoid sexual immorality, uncleanness, and covetousness, as those who engage in such behaviors will not inherit the Kingdom of Christ and God.
