Dear God, I pray that you help me to always speak the truth, even when it may be difficult or unpopular. Please give me the courage to stand up for what is right, just as Jesus did. Help me to remember that Abraham did not seek to harm those who spoke the truth, and neither should I. May I always seek to follow your will and live a life that honors you. Amen.

Verse: But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.
John 8:40

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to seek to kill those who speak the truth.
