Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that no one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven. I thank you for sending your Son to earth to save us and for the promise that through him we can have eternal life with you in heaven. I pray that you would help me to live a life that honors you and that I would always remember the sacrifice that was made for me. Thank you for your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.
John 3:13

This is a Promise. The verse promises that only the Son of Man, who descended from heaven, has ascended into heaven and is currently there.
