Prayer based on John 3:14. Themes: Salvation, Redemption, Faith

Dear Lord,

As I come before you today, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word. Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. I thank you for the sacrifice that your Son made on the cross for my sins.

I pray that you would help me to always remember the significance of this promise and to live my life in a way that honors your Son. May I never forget the love and grace that you have shown me through his sacrifice.

Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of eternal life that we have through your Son. I trust in your promises and pray that you would continue to guide me on my journey of faith.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
John 3:14

This is a Promise. The verse is a comparison between Moses lifting up the serpent in the wilderness and the Son of Man being lifted up, indicating that just as the serpent was a symbol of healing and salvation for the Israelites, so too would the Son of Man be a symbol of salvation for all who believe in him.
