Dear God, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for the promise that all things whatever you have given me are from you. I claim this promise today and ask that you continue to bless me with your abundant grace and mercy. Help me to always remember that everything I have comes from you and to use it for your glory. May my life be a reflection of your love and may I always seek to honor you in all that I do. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement made by Jesus to God, acknowledging that everything he has been given comes from God. There is no command or instruction given to the reader.
