Dear Lord, help me to remember that I am from this world, but you are from above. Help me to live my life in a way that reflects your heavenly kingdom and not the ways of this world. May I always seek your guidance and wisdom, and may my actions and words be a reflection of your love and grace. Thank you for being my Savior and for showing me the way to eternal life. Amen.

Verse: He said to them,“You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.
John 8:23

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to recognize the difference between themselves and Jesus, acknowledging that he is from above and not of this world.
