Praying from 1 Corinthians 12:15. Themes: Unity, Diversity, Body of Christ
Dear God, help me to remember that I am a valuable part of your body, even if I may not feel as important as others. May I never compare myself to others and feel inadequate, but instead, may I embrace my unique role in your plan. Thank you for creating me just the way I am and for including me in your family. Amen.
Verse: If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body.
1 Corinthians 12:15
This is a Command. The verse is telling the reader not to think that they are not a part of the body of Christ just because they may not have the same gifts or abilities as others.
