Praying from Acts 16:22. Themes: Persecution, Justice, Endurance.

Dear Lord, we pray for those who face persecution and violence at the hands of the multitude and the authorities. We ask for your protection and strength to endure the trials and tribulations that come their way. May they find comfort in your love and grace, and may their faith remain steadfast in the face of adversity. We pray for those who inflict harm on others, that they may be touched by your mercy and compassion, and turn away from violence and hatred. Help us to be agents of peace and reconciliation in our communities, and to stand up for justice and righteousness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: The multitude rose up together against them and the magistrates tore their clothes from them, then commanded them to be beaten with rods.
