Dear God, we come before you today and ask for your help in rebuking the wild animal of the reeds and the multitude of bulls with the calves of the peoples. We pray that you would trample underfoot the bars of silver and scatter the nations who delight in war. We ask for your peace to reign in our world and for your love to overcome all hatred and violence. Please guide us in our efforts to bring about a more just and peaceful world, and help us to be agents of your grace and mercy in all that we do. Amen.
